You know, learning to fly the heart, they can't go out and get food for themselves. They can't defend themselves of predators' hats. They're vulnerable. The people of Israel right now, they're vulnerable, right? They're in the wilderness.

I'm just going to be able to 430 years in Egypt. Full resources. So they're newly free, wondering what was misfallen his man-ing Moses who's going multiple years in town. That's the direction of the God. And God tells Moses to tell the people, hey, look back. Look back at what I've done for you, how I love you, how I've provided for you, how I've protected you. And I never had to do a lot of research here. All day last Sunday afternoon, just researching, what does it mean to be called kingdom of priests? It was fascinating. One commenter states that Israel is to be a kingdom of priests that is a servant nation, instead of a ruler nation. Instead of pouring not just from other nations, but instead of a side instead of a part for God's purposes.

Set aside for God's purposes. And it may be good to state here that you can't be reductionistic about what it means to be a kingdom of priests to be God's chosen people. Some people can reduce it down to the point where any actions that a kingdom of priests or God's chosen people take, those actions are divine nor dang by God. You can't do that. Because not all actions are ordained, especially when those actions don't align with the purposes of God in the world.

And his rejected work in our world. So, what does it mean to be a kingdom of priests? So we have to look at what is the role of the priests? So as we know, the role of the priest is to present the sins of the people to God for cleansing. And they also convey the blessing of God to the people. The priest also serves as figures who mediate or serve as conduits between God and the people.

And as we read in chapter 19, this is what Moses is doing. I count it how many times in chapter 19, how many times Moses went up and down the mountain? He went up and down the mountain, up four times down four times. Mediating the presence of God for the people. And I don't know about you. That's why it's not a climate. And I couldn't do it. But that was the role that Moses played.

Because God's whole separated from the people. He's on the mountain. And that's where God and Moses was born and where God was. Moses speaks with God even face to face. And he does the work of the priest. So fast forward, if you think about all the priests Aaron and his son and the priestly order of Israel to write all the Testament.

Do they, how do they act in the world? Do they fulfill the role very perfectly? If you're resounding, no. Do we fulfill our role? Do we live by those perfectly? No, we don't. Yet God remains faithful to his people. We're against faithful to keep his people accountable with the humble priest. And he said, we're feeling his way into Jesus, the way he oppressed.

So it's only for them or to play the prophets. We're different from the people. And the people who saw this came. So he's really the name of the common priest. The king of the same party is really there. And he can be a relationship with the people. Through the media and the wonderful priests. We're grateful and support the king of the king of the

world. And he can be a relationship with the people. So he can be a relationship with the people. And he can be a relationship with the people. And he can be a relationship with the people. Now we're he's welcoming us inviting us to be a part of that work of being a blessing to the nations. And we get to do that in our day to day lives. Some people have called in some ministry. Some people have called it just the marketplace. Wherever you find yourselves, recall to mediate the presence of blessing of God, so the world around us, wherever we are.

There's one more passage of scripture I like most to look at. It's in 1 Peter, chapter 2. You don't mind turning out with him? We'll pick up in verse 9, 1 Peter, chapter 2, verse 9. This is this. He says, but you are not like that.

You are a chosen people, a loyal priesthood, a holy nation, God's very own possession. And as a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he calls you out of darkness and answering his wonderful life. Isn't that beautiful? The earth and everything and everyone in it belongs to God, even the people of Egypt. So we saw in this story of Exodus that Egypt, there was a nation of people who have subverted the justice of God's world, what am I creating in justice, creating chaos, creating oppression, and propagating genocide. That's what Egypt did.

On the other hand, we see in the Exodus story that God set up one of the people of Israel to be his chosen ones. And as Peter said, the holy nation set apart for God's purposes to show others the goodness of God in the world. So the people of Israel would call Kingdom of Greece and never be an antithesis or the exact opposite of Egypt in the world.

Set apart for a purpose. So because of Christ, we too are Kingdom of Greece set aside to live lives of worship to the God by being conduits of his presence and conduits of his peace, the conduits of his blessing to the world around us. This is really a perfectionist.

When I see you give me a rule, give me a law, I want to do things perfectly. And when I don't, I go to shame. I go to despair or depression. But in thinking about this, in thinking about who the fact that God is like the mother of evil, he's lifting the lifts up, lifts all up when you don't get it. And that's why I never will.

So we can see just the recipients of God's grace each and every day. And that's my prayer for all of us that we can just receive the grace and mercy of God each and every day as this Kingdom of Greece seeking to be conduits of his blessing, peace and presence in the world around us. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, you are gracious and merciful to us in ways we can't even understand and understand why you would desire it to be in a relationship because of the abuse that you still choose.
