Yeah, I've heard before I get into it. So I was loved being able to come. Especially here, I don't know how many years ago, 15 or so, and I started out with a copy of this guy named Ben. And then a copy of this guy named Ben, who's heard me as a copy in the front of the card. And I was like, I need to hang out with this guy. And then really, he's been, I love Ben.

And so he's got his huge impulse on my life. Because he's presenting calls. And so for the last 13 years, we've been on the Confederate as Kevin Church. So really, you are part of our church here. So it's the floor of the theater. And I love when he's in the church of the good shepherd. And so, same, 27th Psalm from memory is beautiful. That's a ridiculous Psalm that the whole experience

was allowed to become really famous and for good reason. Because there's a lot of comfort in the glory of the good shepherd. And so, today, I'll be reading from John chapter 16, verse 15, 3.22. And it does kind of go in the line of our good shepherd, that he knows what's going to happen even before it happens,

and has gone ahead of us. But let me read, get out. A little while, and you will see me no longer. And again, a little while, and you will see me. So, Psalm chapter 1 and other, what is verse that he says to us? A little while, and you will not see me. And again, a little while, and you will see me. And because I'm going through the problem,

so they're screaming, what does this mean by a little while? We do not know what he was talking about. So, we would hear that they wanted to ask you, because he said to them, if it's what you are asking yourself, what I meant by saying a little while, and you will not see me. And again, a little while, and you will see me. Truly, truly, I'll tell you, you will weep on the minute. But the world will be good. You will be taught, but your thought will be turned into joy.

When a woman is given birth, she has thought that the power has come. But once we have delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the end for joy that his human being has been born into the world. So also, you have thought of now, but I will see you again. And you have hope to rejoice, and no one will take your joy from here. So, God's word, let me pray. Father, thanks for your people. Thanks for your great love and your chapter Jesus Christ.

Would your word now do its words? Your God who you need to eat is a breath of speak. Would you bless this word now to the hearts and minds, renewing, restoring, and delivering the joy that can never be taken from us? We are today, it's in good with God. Amen. So the Apostle John is recording the event of Holy Week, just like all the doctors do.

But it's good to remember who John was. He's the only disciple to ask for you to be at the foot of the clone. Everyone else took a little overwhelmed by his fear. But John is there. He's seeing and hearing the sense of its violence. I guess it's death crimes. He's trying to manage his own view, his own fear and trauma. But he's also aware of Jesus Moved,

who's walking her time, struggled to breathe on a quarter divide, while stranger talk by rejoicing and hurling, learned, and mocking the Alzheimer's Day. I mean, it's way too much. This is beyond the imagination. John isn't going to be able to say to Mary or himself, or think to be honest. You know, on Mary, there's two blinks to be stressed.

That will be way beyond it. This is a complete matter. And John then, he's thinking, he's trying to come to God with the fact that everything that John has been worthless. It's over. What do I even believe right now? And certainly we've seen smaller events ruin people's lives.

Yet John is left in and recording the events of Christ's suffering. Some years later, he doesn't exhibit any predictable kinds of cultural aspects in the audience. In fact, John will continue to suffer all those horrible things for Christ's sake. And he seems empowered with an incredible hope and joy. It says, all written and spoken of is infused with some powerful confidence.

And explicitly in his writing, he says things. He gave his reason. I wrote these down so that all he believes that Jesus is the Christ. So John remembers the infinite connotations of Jesus just hours before it was around. He can't help but marvel at the things Jesus said. And he's all positive today. It's the promise of joy. God gives the promise of joys with moments before the night where it unfolds.

Jesus talks about the touch moment. And Jesus talks a little while. Jesus really says to Jesus, he tells a little while and you're feeling a little longer. And again, a little while and you're feeling. But it's probably just couldn't understand us. But what do you mean? We all have a hard time understanding when Jesus says you're going to suffer. I don't understand. When it's like a ! What do you mean?

So who is great to God? You've been a place a little while, seven times. At this time to figure out what, why do you have to come to it? What do you have to do with us? I mean, we're your own world. We're in the safest place we can be. Then Jesus says an amazing thing. The only God has loved and also has said is, you will be sorrow. But your sorrow will turn on the joy. You will not see me for a little while, but I will see you again.

And your thoughts will be closed and no one will pay for your children yet. It's not so easy evening when the disciples are hidden in a locked ring. The disciples are not scared, separated from Christ, completely traumatized and found to understand what is going on in your happening. The perfect word we that enters the locked ring is alive. He invites them, touch me.

Let's eat together. I'm with you. Now I'm for it. He says please. What are you guys doing locked up? This is where Jesus graciously anchors the source of grace and unending joy. He anchors all of this joy in his bodily suffering and resurrection. The hope of resurrection is what end-givers the disciples through repeated debilitating, soul-touching, sorrow and failure.

They keep belonging. John no longer evictions to the suffering of this world, but he's become a witness to the truth, a recipient of quite ongoing presence and power of life over death. Now they get it a little bit. They start to get it on that night and they see the resurrection Christ. So a little while of suffering, but that's not compared to the glory of the resurrection.

So joy, they take their actions and joys that lived through and beyond a little while of suffering. Christ's resurrection is so powerful that it can keep the lifetime. That even simple people are safe. That's amazing. I've got some fun with what I'm doing. I just want to go on a pathway.

It's a prayer. So Christ's resurrection is so powerful that simple people of course can honestly stay with the apostle, the apostle Paul and Mommy. But we rejoice in ourselves in knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces shelter and shelter who can help and hope does not put us to praying. But that's hard for me to imagine at a time.

I'm going to be joy to myself. I don't know if I can honestly then start thinking about what is suffering. I'm feeling the normal things of my life. Is that suffering or is it in fact a religious pursuit? And what Paul and what all the disciples and the apostles before it. Anything that causes sorrow, the realities of this world. The brokenness you're in common and places where you shouldn't.

How can we say I rejoice in these sufferings? And likewise, as part of the part of your view that today he literally says in the word of God, you will not die. Why? I mean, after we were trying to avoid all suffering at all times, that's what every other guy is talking about. I want good luck. While a tall guy saying you're going to walk these sufferings. If you're getting wrong, don't make things worse for yourself.

Don't look the suffering. God gives great reasons of comfort and peace. And you should enjoy them and give thanks to God for the invite. When the reality of suffering, he touches your life. Do not swallow it up on the temptation to believe that all suffering is evil and serves you a purpose. Or that it's a punishment. Do not tell it into a mystery or a liberty. Some felt that at the foot of the clock. And we will too, but it's not true.

There is a purpose for suffering. God hasn't left you. In fact, God brought the great of good in Christ's suffering. And by it he brings the great of good to others. He uses suffering. He creates something that is suffering. Upon his view, the author is looking to greet up the founder and perspective of his favor. Who courted joy that was set before him and endured the mixeding joy of suffering. The fighting, the shame, and the feeling is not seated at the right hand of the strong side. It's comforting when you think our God is not a straight of suffering.

But producing resurrection is for you. It's hard to imagine and in fact, it's the great division. It's a great division. It's a great division. It's a great division. It's a great division. It's a great division. It's a great division. It's a great, myth-free, and unique path of the gospel. If you think about either two religions in the world, one that requires you to do something

or one that is gospel. And ours is gospel. Jesus Christ. Clothes God. Clothes himself in the flesh. And suffers and dies for us. So that he can bring up resurrection. It's unique. It's love. So he's built to realize that there's a great suffering master today. But I still don't know how to feel about it. I don't want to act like I'm happy.

Because one of the hallmites of suffering is that our imaginations and our feelings go crazy. My life is thick for a couple weeks. And I'm trying to walk in three and come out with, I'm going to be thick forever. I'm a virgin. I'm a hawk forever. It's like no baby, it's all right. But you know, two days, you're the good life. One unit. You're the black man.

You always fit on the gun. I'm like, well, not all. Yes. You're right now, so you don't know. But you'll be all right. We need something more than that. And so, Zora, because we take joy to easily be stolen with this boat, only I want to know if you need something more than that. We need that. And that's the beauty of faith. Faith requires an object. Sometimes we're going to confuse. We don't have faith in an idea or a concept of faith in faith.

I believe that I believe, for now, I'm good. If not, we have an object. And the object is a resurrected body of these of kings who appeared to witnesses and made promises. He is the object of his failure. We don't know how to stand, but fear not. The testimony of Christ's resurrection is a fact. And stands up, powers move through the apostolic witness and first can testimony of normal, scared people living in possible hours of hope.

Christ's resurrection delivers and promises a joy that's anchored in the historic sense that because he rose from the dead, all he looked at him will also live forever. So we pray with God that today we have a real indication to rejoice now and forever that Father found the whole experience as revealed himself by his grace in the final victory.

Through witnesses, this is all very gracious, sitting just in your home. It's outside of you. And his word is trustworthy and powerful to perform what it says. Now, when God says, let there be light, there's light. When God says, take up the mat and walk, and the God walks. And his word performs what it tells us. And so he rose from the dead.

He says, I will give you joy now. You'll suffer here, but you're going to live forever and overcome them. He's creating the objects of your faith in the whole experience and giving you the ability to go. I see him. I believe him. And while all this leads us to a time of certainly joys being in the new community and the rest of the ball. We know one day there's absolutely a great joy for you today.

It's good as the disciples were hiding behind closed door. So fear on that first week of Sunday, that evening. Yeah, we hide behind locked doors all the time. I'll speak for myself. I don't know you well enough. But where I come from, it's a bunch of things. It's great. And right so we're stuck. It's a lot of stuff. But we're bombarded with false beliefs.

There's always false reporting. Oh, the disciples are hidden by them. No, they didn't. There are two common types. The truth is he rose again. But in all our claims, we have these competing ideas that even start believing that in my tough and gall-tied real.

Or he's abandoned me. For good, quick, this house, because I've done something wrong. I don't deserve his love. Wrong. That's false. Oh, that God's not all powerful. He can't quite get this one. False. Or if he is all powerful, he's not good. False. He has all power. And the resurrected Christ enters into those thoughts, into your suffering, into these rooms that we all paralyzed the fear and the fact that I'm clear about your claims.

I will never abandon you. You're wondering, what are you doing about it, God? I'm doing something about it. I've done something about it on the clock, and I'm doing something about it now in your resurrection. I have not forgotten it. My death results in eternal victory over death and the grave for you. It's been prompted. I will uphold you.

I will strengthen you. I will forgive you. I'll be your good shepherd. I am your good shepherd. I will use the starless suffering of your love that you endured as my children to draw you even closer to me. I felt good for you. I'll draw you even closer to me. The suffering you now endure actually bums up together with cults so that we may not retire.

The apapoparral, the second thing, though our own itself is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. So now the hope of resurrection often is renewing us on the inside with the hope it will be outside the next one day. And the resurrected cult is responding to your things to comfort you and to teach you to look forward in the hope of your own resurrection and to live a cult forever.

The beautiful thing about that day is that there is a building where all faith will be wiped away because we'll see them face to face. We'll see them face to face. And he's going to welcome you and love you because you're a kid. And he knows a little longer. But that something better longs for the little longer. So the resurrection power of Christ is slowly guiding our heart to your heart to stay with the apapoparral.

And Romans 8, the amazing time is for our consider that the suffering of this perfect time not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. So as we are being renewed in some, now remember these little words with kindness. And never let this comfort be torn from your heart. That is fixed a little longer.

There is a day coming when your soul returns to joy. And that joy no one will ever take from you. May the peace of God with God is all understanding, keep your hearts in mind and questions. Amen? This place has been praised now or something. Yeah? Lord, thank you. Thank you for your amazing wonderful, hateful, mercy, steadfast love.

Thank you for forgiving us as friends and filling us with the forgiveness that allows us to stand up and keep moving forward in space through our fear, through our real dreams. Thank you for this hope of resurrection is entered and real. Would you continue to comfort us in it? As your pleasure. Thank you for that. Amen.
